This might be a stupid question, but how much do you guys pay for an oil change? I stopped by a mechanic earlier he asked $200 (Labor+parts & filter) I thought it was exaggerated & overpriced?

That’s a no. It depends on the car always to see how much oil you really need and sometimes dealerships have coupons. Shouldn’t be more than 70$ for an oil change plus the filter, and labor included.

that’s what I thought, my friend (American) said she pays $250 which sounds insanely expensive. I looked online and people are saying $100 max
I paid more than 600 dollars for mine,so it depends on the car and the service needed with oil change

for oil change… damn that’s robbery.
Usually it's between $70 and $150 depending on many factors such as your car, the business itself and how much they charge.. But if your car is less than $50k worth i think it shouldnt go over that price for oil change

Yes I paid more last year around 800 to 900 at the dealership because it is still.under warranty however is your car out of warranty you can take it to autozone and they will give you good price
